An essential part of our work is to promote the importance of protecting and conserving local biodiversity.
Over the past decade, we’ve reached out to more than 500 children in local community schools throughout the Fernan-Vaz. In 2020, we are launching a Youth Nature club in the town of Omboue as a way to inspire children to become strong conservation advocates. The main goal is to highlight the interdependence between people and wildlife, as well as solicit a new perspective on the importance of protecting wild great apes.
